This pistol (the Beretta M9A1 9mm 10rd) is an exact functional and aesthetic copy of the original military version of the M9. The only difference with the Beretta M9A1 9mm 10rd and the true Beretta M9A1 is the inclusion of ten round magazines rather than the full capacity magazines.

From the jungle heat of Panama to the sandstorms of Iraq, the men and women of the U. S. Armed Forces have counted on the Beretta M9 pistol for over two decades of distinguished service and reliability.

The front accessory rail for optic or other accessory mounting and the definitive checkering on the front and back strap as well as the heavily beveled magazine well and sand resistant magazines also make the Beretta M9A1 9mm 10rd a distinctive and impressive gun.

Comfortable pistol to shoot. The wider trigger guard is nice for use with gloves. Great quality. Smooth slide. The 10 round mags are not PVD coated like the original version's 15 round mags which was kind of a bummer; but that's what I get for living in California.

I live in CO, wanted the legit beretta M9a1 but couldn't find it here when it first was released. I had good experiences with riflegear so I bought it from the webstore. They always seem to have stuff in stock that noone else does, even if it is geared for California...The ten round mags are a drag, but I bought a couple higher capacity magazines a week or so later in CO. The checkering and the light rail are cool. I like the gun a lot.
