The Aero Precision PRO 5.56 Bolt Carrier Group is built to meet the demands of the most extreme conditions. Each component is manufactured to increase the reliability and service life of the BCG.

The bolt is machined from 9210 steel with a nitride finish and proper heat treatment for superior strength and durability. The cam pin channel is counter bored, eliminating the need for traditional swaging. Each PRO cam pin is precision ground after heat treatment for exacting specifications. An index mark engraved on the cam pin allows for consistent installation, reducing heavy wear normally found on incorrectly installed cam pins.

Each PRO BCG uses an M16 carrier with precision ground critical surfaces. The gas key is machined from hardened 4140 steel and torqued to the carrier with grade 8 fasteners.
