Opening up your rifle for top-loading, cleaning, or break-down has never been easier with the use of this take down pin with pull ring!  I modify the take down pin by drilling a hole through the head and adding a 1" black split ring.  Just insert your finger in the ring and pull.  Even tight fitting uppers can now be opened with ease.

I picked this up for my AR because it seems to make life a little easier than a straight pin. I will put something on the ring to eliminate the metal to metal contact. Good Idea!

It makes cleaning easy. A police officer was at the range and noticed it. He thought it was a good idea also. Then I pointed out the Bullet Button, which he had not seen either, and told me, "that's a good one too!"

As Alex said in his review, "Just makes overall cleaning, top loading (if needed) easier”. But in regards to the marring of the lower finish, I just put some shrink tubing on about 3/4 ‘s of the ring and it solved that problem. The shrink tubing is really hard to get on the ring but worth it in my opinion. Having the ring on the pin makes it MUCH easier to pull.
