The Bullet Button Installation Tool is a dedicated tool used for installing or removing the inner nut of the AR15 Bullet Button.  This aluminum tool is anodized black and features a thick base that allows for a comfortable grip during use.

Note: This tool may be damaged if used to remove a nut that has been secured with Loctite.  If you feel more than moderate resistance when attempting to turn the nut please stop as damage to the tool may result.  Use a heat gun or torch to break down the Loctite on the nut prior to removal.

Broke it in less than 5 minutes. Plastic would be more durable. Don't buy this one.

Tested it on a 2012 mfg date S&W MP 15 Sport, worked fine. No damage to the tool. I ordered 2 just in case, price was right. Also ordered BB wrench tool, it would not work on same rifle, damaged to BB wrench. I would recommend it, if loctite was used, use heat first!
