This FN SCAR stock block is used to prevent the folding of the stock on the FN SCAR rifle.  This is necessary in cases where the overall length of the rifle would otherwise be less than the California minimum of 30" when folded.  The block is installed inside of the spring behind the stock release button and prevents the button from being depressed.

Does NOT prevent the telescoping function of the stock. The stock block only disables the folding mechanism.

To Install:
1) Use a punch to drift out the stock hinge pin and remove the folding stock assembly.
2) Remove the stock release button and spring by pressing on the retaining tab with a punch or other small tool.
3) Put the stock block inside of the spring and reinstall the release button
4) Slide the stock assembly back into place
5) Use a punch to reinstall the stock hinge pin

Glad i found this last minute as my original lock broke. I did have to use a file to shave off an excess amount on one end for proper fitment. Lastly, tapping out that stock hinge roll pin is kind of a pain in the butt.

Works perfectly! You must remove the roll pin that hinges the folding stock, then drop in the pin. Once the pin is in, you must hook the button latch then reconnect the hinge or you will never get this back together. The only way I could see to remove the pin is to reverse the process. This pin completely disables the push button release for the folding stock. Fantastic product for a very reasonable price!
