The SOPMOD stock was originally developed by NSWC-Crane for use with SOCOM's  SOPMOD (Special Operations Peculiar Modification) M4A1 carbines.  B5 systems, a well known defense and aerospace contractor, was selected in 2009 to supply the US Army with SOPMOD stocks.  These quality stocks are now available on the commercial market.  Featuring sloped sides for a superior cheek weld, watertight battery storage compartments, QD sling swivel mount and a tight fit on mil-spec carbine receiver extension tubes.

Features
Improved cheek weld for better shooting position.
Watertight battery storage compartments.
Padded buttplate reduces felt recoil and provides no-slip surface against web-gear and body armor.
Dual quick-detach sling swivel holes.
Made in the USA.

This stock is really nice and is so comfortable! Fit my Armalite M15 milspec tube perfect. Thank you for selling this for a reasonable price.

Looks fantastic! Stock looks great on my Colt 6920 with milspec buffer tube. Half the price of LMT and equal construction.

I bought one of these stocks for my AR-15. It fits great on a mil spec buffer tube. No problems as there were with the original B5 SOPMOD stocks.
