The Security-9 is compact enough for concealed carry use and is designed to fit a variety of available holster options. The frame is made from a durable high-performance glass-filled nylon while the slide is a through-hardened steel with a black oxide finish. The Secure-Action system is derived from the LCP II and provides a smooth trigger pull with a short, crisp, positive reset. The internal, Secure Action hammer provides a strong ignition, yet allows for easier slide racking compared to other striker fired handguns. Safety features include a trigger safety, neutrally balanced sear and a hammer catch to prevent firing pin contact until the trigger is pulled.
