The LMT MLR uses their patented monolithic rail platform(MRP) constructed from a single aluminum forging. The barrel is held in place by a proprietary locking system using 2 bolts accessible from the side of the receiver. Only a standard T-30 Torx wrench is required for installation and disassembly of the barrel.

The MLR rifle length receiver is designed for 14.5" barrels or longer and features M-LOK compatibility on all 8 sides.

LMT MRP barrel is required. A standard AR15 barrel is not compatible with this upper receiver.
