The Mossberg 835 offers hunters with a reliable shotgun with features specifically for all-purpose hunting. The 3.5" chamber allows for the heaviest loads while an overbored barrel reduces recoil for faster follow up shots. The overbored barrel serves to cushion the shot charge while reducing pellet deformation. The 835 uses dual-action bars, dual extractors, anti-jam shell elevator and a large locking lug for a solid lockup between barrel and bolt. An aluminum alloy receiver resists corrosion and keeps the overall weight down on the firearm.
