The Mossberg 590S offers excellent flexibility when it comes to shot shell lengths. The 590S accepts 1.75", 2.75" or 3" shells and allows for a combination of the listed shell lengths.

Shockwave models come with a 14.375" barrel, bead sight and 590 pump-action with dual extractors, twin action bars, steel to steel lockup and anti-jam elevator for smooth operation. A top mounted ambidextrous safety, matte blued finish and magazine clean-out tube come as standard features.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives has confirmed the 590 Shockwave as a “firearm” per the Gun Control Act (GCA), but not a Class 3/NFA firearm.
