The Arsenal SAM7R-62 uses a milled receiver from a hot-die hammer forged blank for a stronger and finer grained steel. Each receiver requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. 

The SAM7R-62 features a AK-351 Brake, milled/forged receiver, 16.3" chrome-lined hammer forged barrel, 14x1mm LH muzzle, intermediate length buttstock, black polymer furniture and FIME enhanced FCG.

This model includes a FIME Enhanced Fire Control Group consisting of a single-hook trigger, hammer, disconnector and disconnector springs. This system delivers a shorter trigger travel resulting a smooth and light pull. Additionally the disconnector is designed with a lengthened tail for a full stop on the rear trigger guard rivet and hammer stop, preventing the hammer from slamming on the trigger.
