The Peltor ComTac V headset uses omni-directional microphones and high fidelity speakers that are optimized to transmit voice communications and pick up sounds with great sensitivity while offering great signal to noise ratio for clear sound replication.

The addition of a boom mic allows for improved audio transmit and provides 18db in noise cancellation. The talk-through feature allows safe audio to bypass the individual hearing protection electronically while still protecting from harmful noises.

The Peltor ComTac V now uses a rubberized band which is easy to remove if the user wishes to convert to ARC adapters. Additionally the new rubber headband is environmentally resistant to heavy maritime conditions.
