The S&W 642 Airweight Revolver 38SPL 1-7/8 Stainless is a perfect companion gun for carry.  It uses a high strength stainless steel cylinder to control the power of the .38 Special +P round, and an ultralight J frame made from an alloy which supports the high power rounds, but alleviates the burden of heavier materials.
