The FN 509 M just got better with FN's Low Profile Optics Mounting System, which allows for direct mounting of a variety of mini red dot sights.
The 509 MRD-LE features include a 4" barrel, optics ready slide, new flat-faced trigger, midsized frame, no manual safety and 17 round capacity magazines. The frame accepts optional backstrap to provide better recoil management.
The FN 509 MRD-LE was selected by the Los Angeles Police Department(LAPD) as their new duty pistol.
