The 1911 Mil-Spec features a forged stainless steel frame and slide, both are forged instead of cast for utmost durability. The 5" match grade stainless steel barrel is also forged for a lifetime of use. Like the original GI issued 1911-A1, it uses an arched mainspring housing while the slide has slanted serrations. Additionally the 1911 Mil-Spec uses a lowered and flared ejection port along with fully checkered wood grips.
