The Daniel Defense SoundGuard by KGM Suppressors uses a gas-flow dynamics to eliminate over-gassing and directs most gasses forward, instead of the shooter's face. The GFM design lowers impulse noise while a patent pending baffle stack with proprietary coating reduces the flash signature to virtually zero. The patent pending gas-flow pathing stabilizes rounds to ensure extreme accuracy with minimal point of impact shift.

The SG-556 is compatible with .223/5.56 caliber weapons and is constructed from lightweight and durable stainless steel. Attaches and detaches in seconds via the included adapter using the industry standard 1.375-24 UNS and allows for mounting of a variety of muzzle attachments.
