The Accuracy International AXSR was originally developed for the USSOCOM Advanced Sniper Rifle(ASR) program. This project was subjected to numerous tests to withstand real world combat including the ability to fire after being buried in mud or sand.
The AXSR comes highly customizable features suitable for military applications. The QUICKLOC barrel release technology makes the AXSR a multi-caliber platform allowing for easy barrel changes using a common 4mm hex wrench. The AXSR also features a 20MOA STANAG optics rail, folding adjustable stock with tool-free adjustable cheek height and length of pull.
