The Benelli R1 is a semi-automatic hunting rifle that utilizes an action based on the M4 military shotgun. Features Benelli's Auto-Regulating, Gas-Operated (ARGO) system with a 3-lug rotary bolt. The gas cylinder is placed to allow for a short operating rod and less felt recoil. The R1 uses a cryogenically treated, free floating barrel mated to a steel receiver for outstanding accuracy and secure platform for optics. The ergonomic design of the R1 combines both form and function with aesthetics.
