The Modlite IR 940 Light Head is a dedicated IR illumination head designed to output IR light in the 940nm IR spectrum. This light head delivers a good amount of spill and a defined hot spot up to distances to 75 yards depending on conditions. This light head features a large visible signature reduction compared to the 850nm head and Surefire Vampire series.
Lithium CR123 cells are not supported and if used will cause the cells to heat up and possibly explode or catch fire. It is recommended to use Modlite protected cells.
