The Ruger Hawkeye Guide Gun uses a Green Mountain laminate stock that is designed to be stable through environmental extremes. A non-rotating, Mauser type controlled round feed extractor allows for positive extraction, while a fixed blade-type ejector positively ejects when the bolt is full rearward. The cold hammer forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling with exceptional accuracy and longevity.
