The Ruger Hawkeye Hunter utilizes a non-rotating, Mauser type controlled round feed extractor for positive case extraction. A fixed blade type ejector ejects spent casings as the bolt is moved fully rearward. The cold hammer forged barrel ensures ultra-precise rifling while providing exceptional accuracy and longevity. Features a Ruger Radial Port Muzzle Brake that dramatically reduces felt recoil, the brake can be removed without changing the point of impact for a particular load.
