The LMT MWS 308 uses their patented modular weapon system(MWS) constructed from a single aluminum forging. The forend utilizes M-LOK compatible points at all 8 sides.

The barrel is held in place by a proprietary locking system using 2 bolts accessible from the side of the receiver. This system allows the user to install a barrel chambered in 7.62x51mm, .243 WIN, .260 REM, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08 REM or .338 Federal(barrel not included).

LMT MWS barrel is required(not included). This upper will accommodate 16" or longer barrels.

Fits: LMT 308 lower receiver pattern
