For 2020, Colt has consolidated all rollmarks into one common nomenclature as the "Colt Carbine".
The Colt CR6940 utilizes a patented one-piece monolithic upper with a continuous mil-spec rail for unmatched repeatability with optics and laser systems. The lower rail is removable provides modularity and allows for mounting accessories. A free floating barrel provides enhanced accuracy in mind. Additional features include a straight gas tube, gas block with folding sight, Mil-Spec lower , Mil-Spec trigger/hammer, MBUS rear sight and Carbine telescoping stock.
